Now Hiring: Customer Service Representative for an industrial and agricultural company in Wailuku-Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour-Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM-Position: Customer Support Representative I - Maui -Location: Wailuku, Maui -Department: Sales/Customer Service ABOUT THE COMPANY:The leading distributor of agricultural and industrial chemicals, fertilizer, and specialty products in Maui. We are currently seeking a hard-working and resourceful Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers with product selections, handle telephone inquiries, and communicate effectively to provide solutions. This role requires strong verbal skills, independence, and efficient problem-solving abilities.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Communicate delivery requirements to Iwilei Operations personnel, including quantities ordered and requested delivery times.2. Daily update of delivery tags for accurate sales figures and efficient A/R flow.3. Research outstanding pick slips and follow up with customers regularly to clear the pipeline report.4. Advise customers on product changes, introduce new products, provide technical and safety information, and recommend appropriate products.5. Balance cash drawer, prepare cash/credit card reports, make bank deposits, and provide receipts to the Accounting Department daily.6. Assist in coordinating deliveries of bulk and/or drop shipment orders to customers.7. Handle customer phone calls regarding discrepancies on delivery tags and/or invoices.8. Process credits and re-bills for corrections to customer accounts as necessary.9. Handle customer complaints and problems professionally and within company policy.QUALIFICATIONS1. 1-2 years of previous sales and/or office experience.2. Excellent customer service and communication skills.3. Strong attention to detail.4. Experience with or knowledge of commodities the Company distributes (agricultural, turf ornamental, pest control, and/or industrial products) is desired.5. Demonstrated computer aptitude, with working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
